Gatorland or one of the petting zoos, or how about one of the national parks where you can take a picnic and play in the water

Historic Kissimmee has a great play area on the lake and shops and cafes to wander round.

There is a beach at OLD ST CLOUD if you drive from Kissimmee down to St Cloud and take one of the streets with the USA States road like Kentucky ,California and keep driving to Lake Toko there is a Marina , Picnic tables ,Childrens play area and a man made beach also Crabby Bills resturant for take away or eat in .
Your little boy will enjoy the sand and play ground .

we didn't do downtown disney for the first few times but once we'd discovered it i love just wandering round in and out of all the shops and just sitting wathing the world go by-on street entertainment-well worth a look
