Sunset Lakes Community - places to eat

    Hi all -
Just joined and off to Sunset Lakes Community (FL34747) next month. Can anyone say what's within a 5 minute drive for great breakfast or supper - but not pricey for mum, dad+ 2 teenagers.

Also, love seafood - but so many sites give such different comments for the same place. From what I've read - definitely avoid Bubba Shrimp, Red Lobster?! Anyone got a sure bet for somewhere good.

Lots more questions over the next few weeks - but lets get the important stuff done first.

    Lob.

Hi Lobsterdad, welcome to the forum, I am biased, but you are going to love Sunset Lakes.

You will be spoilt for choice with restaurants, all within 5 minutes - for breakfast Dennys, Bob Evans, Golden Corrall. For seafood a bit further along the 192 towards Celebration Joe's Crab Shack is really good. For supper you have The Outback at Formosa Place as well as Giordinos, TGI Fridays. One thing is certain, you won't go hungry[msnsmile2]

Feel free to ask questions, we are happy to chat.

Near to our beautiful peaceful community [where you will find it hard to tear yourself away after a hard day soaking in the rays, or casting your fishing rod] there are tons of restaurants 9/10th of a mile down a back road, you have the 192 and the Formosa Garden complex to include OUTBACK Steakhouse, TGI Fridays, Giordano's, Red Lobster [no reason to avoid it that I know? Always had good meals in the one near us -most of these restaurants are franchises so it depends on the individual one], subway and Dairy Queen, Winn Dixie and crazy Golf to start with!
Carry on there is a cracker Barrel, Houlihans, Longhorn, Olive Garden, Macdonalds and Dennys
Then of course there are restaurants in the Disney Hotels a few minutes away, where you can book a character breakfast or whatever. or go down to the Loop. or Championsgate or anywhere really, to find a restaurant - you fall over them wherever you are!
