redeeming voucher for disney park tickets

    Hello all,

I have purchased Disney Hopper tickets from Virgin Holidays and have received a voucher to exchange for the tickets at one of the Disney parks.

My first days use is likely to be Blizzard beach, can I redeem the voucher there or do I have to go to one of the main parks ?

Better still do you know if there is anywhere in Downtown Disney where I can redeem it ?

Hoping for a quickish response as I fly out next tuesday.

    regards

    Paul

    Hi Paul

In the past when we have purchased Disney Tickets via Virgin, we have always been going to Magic Kingdom first and just had it over at the Guest Relations Booth - so we have not had a problem.

Not sure if the same works at Blizzard Beach, you could try asking at Downtown Disney at the Welcome Meeting, the Virgin Staff might know more.

What I would say is that Disney are so well organised that I would be surprised if you can't get your Hopper Passes from Blizzard Beach.

    Hello Paul

We purchased tickets through Disney for our holiday in September and exchanged the voucher for 'real' tickets at Guest Services at Downtown Disney (the office is tucked away near the toilets in the 'original' part of Downtown). The Cast Members were very helpful and gave my friends (who were on their first ever trip to Disney) badges, pens and leaflets. Mine was the lead name on the voucher, so I had to present my passport as proof of identity.

We bought tickets online from Disney last November.

Originally we thought of going to Guest Relations in Downtown on the night we landed, but decided to leave it until the following day.

In the end, we exchanged the e-mail/voucher for real tickets at a ticket booth at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom, and could have done the same at any Disney park.

I presume that the Virgin vouchers are similar, so you'll probably just need to take some proof of id (passport) with you.

Thanks to all for the prompt responses.
I will try Downtown Disney first.
I have been to Orlando 3 times before so do not need to waste time at the Virgin welcoming meeting, they only want to sell more tickets.
