And finally - last day plus photos.
Well this is it, last day and time to go home.[msnsad] Up and off to Down Town Disney to check in. When ever we have been here in the past it has been really busy, but today no one else was around. The staff even came over and help us get the cases out of the car and wheeled them over for us. [msnsmile2] I decided to take up the offer of the upgrade to extra leg room seats. They cost us an extra £30.00 each but it was well worth it. If you haven’t used these before, on the Virgin planes they are a different colour - usually red, and are positioned just behind the bulk head seats. The pitch is 34 inch against the standard 31 inch. Doesn’t sound a lot, but it really does feel much roomier.[msnsmile] Plus once we got onto the flight that the 2 of us had all 3 seats to our selves - bliss![msntongue]
So cases got rid of and off to Dennys for breakfast. It was mid morning by this time so we decided to go back to Down Town for some last minute shopping. [msnwink]
After an hour or so It was really beginning to get busy, plus it was hot and not a real lot of fun. [msncool] So we decided to go for a walk down to Celebration. We wandered around the lakes and past all the wonderful houses - lots up for sale - and back down Wisteria Lane - no desperate housewives though.[msnscared]
Went and got a couple of ice creams, sat on the rockers by the lake and soaked up the last of the sun.[msncool]
So that was it - the end of the holiday. [msncry] We had a good flight home, arrived in the cold and mist, but by the time we got back to our house the sun was shining and the day was beautiful - some of the Florida sun had come home with us.
Nothing can ever rival our first trip to Florida, I am so envious of anyone going over for the first time. However, I will say that exploring different areas and going to stay on the Island came a very close second. I just cant wait to go back again.
Thank-you all for reading about out trip - I now look forward to reading yours.
