Villas Near Nightlife

We've been to Florida before and stayed in a villa on a gated community. We'd like to stay again but would prefer to stay somewhere close enough, i.e. walking distance, to bars and restaurants rather than use the car. It's really the weather we'll be coming for, rather than the parks, so somewhere of interest would be good instead of Disney. Not bothered where in Florida along as the weather is good in either June or September/October.

I think Indian Wells is meant to be quite close to everything.

If you click on the 'Orlando Villas' link at the top of this page, then when the new page opens go down to the bottom & click on the 'Orlando Map' link you will get a map which shows the loaction of all the villa communities + various Oralando attractions. This may help you to narrow down your search. If you have Google Earth installed you should be able to see whre bars / restaurants etc are located. Go to the 'Layers' section and then 'Places of interest' & tick the boxes as required.

There are quite a few estates within walking distance of shops etc, I'm sure some of the owners on here will advise you about facilities near their villas.
Our villa is on an estate which is part of the Formosa Gardens subdivision which includes Rolling Hills,Indian Creek,Oak Island Cove and Harbor and Formosa Gardens Estate.
We often walk to the shops restaurants and bars in the area, takes 10 minutes or so,there is an excellent outback steakhouse,Italian, TGI Fridays with sports bar,medical center, ATM ,Winn dixie supermarket,and sevelral other restaurants on the formosa shopping Center.
