    Budget Fast Track Question

    Hi all

I've just pre-registerd my booking with Budget and was wondering if, and how, I can enter the second drivers details?

If this cannot be done online, can we still bypass the desk and head straight for the garage when we arrive in Florida?

    Thanks in advance

    Karl

This has been mentioned a couple of times and I don't think the issue has been resolved.

I use Budget fast track most of the time and although I am assured that a second driver is covered there seems no provision for entering the second drivers name.

The Budget terms and conditions say a spouse is covered.

As the majority of times it is only myself, or myself and wife, driving it isn't an issue. The one time I needed my brother to drive as well, I made other arrangements. I simply won't take the chance of renting a car unless I have, in writing, that the other person is covered.

Unless the other driver is named, what for instance is to stop you letting anyone drive your rental car and if there is a problem say he/she is the second driver.

Perhaps Roger can throw some more light on the current situation????

This is the thread I referred to in the post above.

I have used Budget fast track 6 times since then at MCO(Terminal A) and the issues I raised, which Roger acknowledged are unsatisfactory, have still not been resolved as far as I am aware. i.e. Budget, either on-line, at the kiosk, or even at their desk do not make provision for recording the second driver’s details – and their T & Cs specifically say only the spouse is covered.
