Bonjour from La France

Hi everyone,
My name is Renée and I am a Dutch woman living in the Vendée (west France) since 2004.
I have travelled to Florida 4 times so far. The first time when I was still young, on my own, to Jacksonville.
In 2000 with my husband and 2 young daughters who were 6 and 3 at the time, travelling through the southern half of Florida.
In February 2008 my sister joined us (we all live in France together) and the 5 of us rented a villa in Tuscan Ridge and did all the parks in about 3 weeks time.
Our next trip is planned, we found a nice villa in Aviana where we will be staying in February 2010 for 3 great weeks.
I look froward to readin and learning a lot from this huge forum!!

Bonjour Renee and welcome. We have always wanted to move to France we love to tour around and take in the sights and sounds (and wonderful food). However, we also loved Florida so bought a villa there. Sadly we do not live in it, but enjoy our visits. There is always something new in Orlando and we never tire of it.

Hello!
How funny it is to get replies in French and even Dutch, something I definitely had not expected.

This forum is so big that I don't really know where to start looking.

We haven't been able to book our flights yet, we still have to wait until April at the earliest. Of course we have to fly from France, preferably from Nantes as Paris is a 5 hour drive from us.
Our villa is booked (a year ago if you can believe it) and so are tickets for Disney and Universal. We want to go to Discovery Cove for a day.

We also want to have high tea at the Grand Floridian (anyone done that?) an have a pedicure, but where?? There are 5 of us so is there a place where we can all have a treatment at the same time??

You could look at Nantes - Heathrow and then flying out to Orlando / Tampa
