    Anyone Know About Courier/Delivery Services?

Hi, I've just sold my son's old car wheel on e-Bay, specifically stressing "buyer Collects" and of course someone 200 miles away wants to buy it! So I've had a look on the well-known delivery companies' websites, and it's working out around £30 to move this wheel. However, if I G00gle "cheap parcel delivery" I get several sites which claim to charge less than ten quid to do the same thing, and every one of them says "this parcel would be delivered using "XYZ" (insert 3 letter name of several different well known parcel companies!)

So does anyone know if these third party companies can really provide the same service for a third of the cost?

    Any advice gratefully received.
    Dave.

I used to be in the courier industry for a number of years. There are lots of companies who do a 2-3 day service quite cheaply. Just ensure you have acess to a proof of delivery, signed and printed.

Thanks for the advice, and the recommendation. I will go with parcels2go, I especially like the fact that they are based in Bolton - fellow Northerners!!

    Cheers to both,
    Dave.
