    Magic Kingdom at School Holidays

    Hi,
i know it is a while away yet but we are going to Florida during the school holidays. Are there any good ways to beat the crowds during the summer months?

if it is august that you are going then go at the end as the US schools are generally back then. other than that find out which are the busiest days at each park and go on another day. google should help you out with busiest days. the other thing as well is when you get there early, march to the far side of the park to the most distant rides (harder than you think with kids in tow) and work backwards.

We went July into August last year, we had two days at Magic Kingdom. The first day we arrived shortly after opening and did most of the rides we wanted to that day, the second day we arrived mid afternoon and stayed till shutdown to see the parade and Wishes. I can honestly say we didn't have any problems getting on the rides we wanted, yes there are queues and the longest we wanted for a ride was 45 minutes for Peter Pan. We also saved getting our pics with characters until our second day as the queues for them can be long and we didn't want to do quite as many rides as our first visit.
In my opinion MK is a massive park and to try and fit it all in one day is almost impossible whatever time of the year you visit.

Depends when in the holidays you are going. We went at the end of August last year which was very quiet. We have a fair few photogrgaphs with no other people in them. The biggest time saver is to get to the parks for rope drop(and at Disney that is worth seeing too; but not Universal). If you look on the Disney website you can find out when Disney Extra magic Hours are. We avoided those as that is when Disney guests will go to Disney.
