    Calabay Parc vs Westbury

We are holidaying in Florida on May 15th to 31st May 2009. We have been offered a couple of really nice villas, one on Calabay Parc and one on Westbury. We are finding it very hard to choose as both offer great facilities. It may jsut come down to location. We would therefore welcome opinion on the 2 communities - good and bad. The one on Calabay has a north east facing pool and the one at Westbury south east facing. On our days off we do like the sun and we have been assured that both offer all day sun in May, opinions?

If you have located the home from one of our three sites here, you can be assured the owners are reputable and have impeccable standards for their homes.I do not have homes on either of these communities, so I cannot judge which one is better over the other, I dont think anyone can really do that, it is down to your personal preference.

With regards to one home having more sun than the other which is facing one way which is facing another, again, I dont know the personal homes, and only the owner themselves can really tell you. I have one home which is west facing and the other is south west facing, and I would say that both the homes get sun virtually all day, although one is in full sun from about 10.30 and the other about 9.30.

The location of both communities, they are very near each other as well. You have a very hard decision to make, maybe you need to sit down and get the whole family together and choose pros and cons etc. Good luck and enjoy your holiday

    Hi

I am a bit biased here as I have a home on Westbury. What I like about ths community is it is so peaceful. Having only 110 homes the traffic through Westbuy is very quiet.
I have a South West facing pool and can say that I have the sun on it from 9ish until sunset, The house behind me is at a slight angle to me and I have no neighbours one side, and the other sides house is further forward than mine.
I know a lot of the villas do not have someone behing them on Westbury and this can help.

Like Christine I'm obviously biased but towards Calabay Parc[msnwink]

Calabay is a stunning community, very peaceful and beautifully landscaped. I don't know which home you're looking at on Calabay - it's not mine as I'm already booked for those dates - but I would advise that you choose the villa whose amenities you prefer as there's very little to choose between the locations [msnsmile2]

PS I just wanted to check that you're not talking about Calabay Parc at Tower Lake as that is a completely different community...
