Car Hire in Orlando

I will be staying with friends soon in Florida and was wondering if I can book a car through this site while over there or is it better just to go to a car hire outlet. How many days notice do I need to book a car through this site or is confirmation/voucher instant by email

If you select Alamo on our site then 1 working day notice is fine, the others need a little longer. I'd recommend booking as far as possible in advance. Booking on arrive will cost you 2-3 times as much as pre-booking.

So if I choose Alomo,book say Saturday, would it be possible to pick a car up Monday at a good rate?
