Here you go...... the lane outside our house and the back garden - the big mound of snow behind the patio heater WAS a 7ft tree yesterday!

Snowing here in Pewsey - am loving it [msnsmile2] Youngest son was not too impressed as school is still open but the eldest has taken his Wakeskate and is sliding down the local hills on it.

    Lovely photo's Caroline.

We had a flurry of snow that lasted less than one minute and the sun is shining but it is cold.

I took Andrew to the station at 6 am this morning and managed to get there and back albeit slowly. One hour later he rang to say there were no trains from London Bridge going south so he could not get to work after all. It then took him ages to get back home. Stuart managed to get up to London and into work but they have been told they ought to leave by 2pm. Just as well as our train service is now very poor and getting worse. Looks like I will have both of them home tomorrow.

My road in South Manchester at 0830 GMT today:

That grey sky produced a fair bit more snow later on, but it is melting now.

Not the best day to have new windows fitted!! (yes, we're having new windows fitted today!)

We had snow on the ground here in Leicester this morning and it's now falling again ( late afternoon ), really fluffy large flakes, it looks like it's going to be around for the next few days.
We have had nothing like this for quite a while, and everything is looking so beautiful.

We should have been going to NEC today as well but decided not to risk it (and we only live 30 mins away).

Sorry to hear about all of those with exams. This will just put more strain on them.

Just drive the 30 miles home from Burnely to Eccles, 10 minutes quicker than normal due to very light traffic.
    Regards, Mark
