    New member says hello

    Hi folks.

Thought I'd say hello after a few weeks of silent forum surfing. Great community you've got here and a brilliant resource for Orlando virgins like myself.

My wife and I will be traveling to Kissimmee on 30th May for 2 weeks for what will essentially be our last holiday as a couple before we think about having some sprogs [msnembarrased]. My reasoning behind such an extravigant holiday is that it will be our last for at least 5 years and we can enjoy all the rollercoasters without halling a poopy-pants toddler around [msnwink] Also when you look at the price of a holiday to Europe and 2 weeks worth of Euros, it's not all that over the top actually when you add it all up.

Hmm what else. Well we've got use of my Aunt and Uncles villa in Remington in east Kissimmee so there will be 2 of us in a 4 bed villa (PAAAAAAAARTY!!!). Flights with US Airways (hopefully Captin Sully) for £324 which I'm chuffed about. Also booked a car with Budget through Ushire.com - and only after that did I realise the owner was part of this forum! [msncool]. Planning a drive to St Pete for a day on the beach followed by the Ray's verses LA Angles game at night (my life long dream to see a baseball game). And all the other usual things really like giant rollercoasters and even gianter steaks! I've never been so stoked for a holiday in my life - can you tell??? [)]

On a serious note, I am considering using Crowncurrenceexchange.com now for USD which for the date of our trip, they are offering at 1.4249, which seems pretty good. I don't know if I should wait out the weak pounds and the Obamma honeymoon period, which seems to be driving the dollar up? What you recon? I personally doubt it will go much lower than 1.30 or be much more than 1.50 by the summer?

Anyway, hello and sorry for the overeager ramblings. Nice to be part of the forum. [clap]

    Hi Zaby,

Welcome to the forum. It seems you've got most of your plans sorted. Don't forget to leave a little R & R time, beleive me you'll need it.

Wouldn't like to advise on the exchange rates but in my opinion surely it can't get much worse. I'm holding off until nearer the time (June) but who knows????
