Directions

Hi everyone,
is it the normal practice for villa owners to withhold directions to the villa until you pay your balance.
I've got a mate who's a bit worried that she has paid the deposit and has got no details about the villa i.e directions.

Please tell your friend not to worry. It is quite normal not to give the full address until the balance has been paid. This is partly for security reasons and also for the privacy of people who may be currently staying in the villa. It is not unknown for future guests to give the address to a friend who happens to be staying in the area so they can go round and look at the villa. Not so bad if it was a drive past but people have been known to knock on the door and disturb guests.

If your friend has booked through this site rest assured all properties are verified and bona fida.
If in doubt I am sure the owner can provide evidence of ownership.

Hi Paul,

As Mo said above we all withhold directions until the balance has been paid. It is a bit like not forwarding an item bought online before the payment has cleared. I'm sure you get the idea...[msnembarrased]

In any case I'm sure if your friend really wants to, a compromise can be made, I know I have done that in the past.

As the others have already said, this is standard practice.

Rest assured any villa booked through the Orlando Villas group of websites only deal with verified and legit owners.

If they have booked through this site then a) all the villas are verified so no problem ofit being bona fide b) then if its directions to the sub-division then you can glean that from the maps here.

If its a problem with registering for ESTA then you can register without an adress and then fill indetails later.
