Charity Beer Festival

As some of you might know, each year I help to organise and run a large-ish beer festival that aims to raise money for local charities.

This year's one is taking place Thursday Jan 29 - Saturday Jan 31.

If you are in or around the vicinity of Manchester, why not bob along? A number of people from the forums have been over the years and those who didn't kill sufficient brain cells to remember claim to have enjoyed it. It's a great way to catch-up with friends and banish those post-Christmas blues. There aren't many places that you can taste some of the world's best beers and support a few good causes while doing it. We're one of them.

If enough people want to head over for the same night or afternoon I can do my best to organise a table that can be a small oasis of Florida.

But don't take my word for it. To quote the University of Waterloo Engineers: Beer is the center of everything. Everything revolves around beer. When you drink beer, everything revolves. Therefore beer is the center of everything.

Hi Mark - same bar as last time, the draught lagers (the one on the right ... errrrr ... depending on which way you are facing). I'll try to be a bit less busy this time!!! I've heard that we are all in a very fetching lime green colour this year [msneek]
