It was colder here on Monday (or could have been Tuesday) than Antarctica, still -5 when taking dear daughter to school. You knew when you moved there that it was going to be cold winters but at least you are more guaranteed to have good summers, unlike us fools who still live here in blighty!! Looking forward to seeing any new photos Andrew, just glad that I dont have to suffer the amount of snow you get. We have left the central heating on overnight here for quite a few nights running, not looking forward to receiving the gas bill!!!!

Quite agree with you Karen. There are a few Brits here who I have heard moaning about the cold and snow. I really find that unbelievable as we are guests in Canada and also you know its going to be cold and snowy when you move here.

Not only good summers but 4 distinct seasons which I think Britain has started to loose a bit with mild winters, early summers etc.

Quite right Andrew, its a bit like moaning that its too hot when you have chosen to go to Florida or anywhere hot at the hottest time of the year. We do still sometimes get 4 distinct seasons here but they are usually in one day[msnoo]

Yeah, was Crowded House that did that song but since they are Australian I would think "everywhere you go, always take the weather with you" would apply[msnwink], cant say I blame them[msnsmile]

Its getting a bit chillier when I take Sabrina to the school bus.

Having said that went skiing for the 1st time Monday morning; brilliantly sunny day and could see over the whole bay from the top of the Blue Mountains.Knowing there was going to be a lot of falling over I didn't take my camera but will do next time.
