T Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney

For anyone interested in dining there, T Rex Cafe have now started taking priority reservations.

You have to phone them direct on 001 407 828 8739.
Don't call the usual Disney Dining phone number as they tell you reservations can't be made[msneek]

    Can't wait to try it![msnsmile2]

It looks fun, very much the same as the Rain Forest Cafe.

We did it in November last year, the food was similar/similar price to the Rain Forrest Café memu.
One tip, try not to sit in the Ice room. Due to the lighting and special effects it is very hard to read the memu.

Is this restaurant in the new Dinosaur Land? I did't realise there was going to be a restaurant in it. I assume it is a themed dinosaur place, but does it have the same type of "entertainment" as the Rainforest Cafe?

I can't wait to try it!

We ate here when we were out in May - very very busy - over an hours wait for a table - thats after queing at the entrance also.
The restaurant itself looks amazing - we loved the bar area especially.
Food was very average and way way over priced.
Would recommend just taking the kids in the shop part and sneaking to the restrooms so they can take a look at the animatronic dinosaurs etc.
The 'Build a Dino' shop was so busy but fun !

We ate here and sat in the Ice Room, which was great. No problem reading the menu. Portions were huge and food good. We found the food to be better than Rainforest. Unlike the Rainforest Cafe which we went to, pleased we experienced but have no intention of going back, WE WILL be visiting TRex Restaurant again this year.
