    Valentines Day

We're going to Florida on 12th Feb so we are there for Valentines Day on Sunday 14th. My mum has kindly offered to have the kids so that me and Melanie can go out for a meal [high5] and a few drinks [party2]

We went to Charleys last time and thought we'd go there again as it's not the kind of place to take children to, so perfect opportunity.

Checked the website and they have a Valentines Special Chef Menu which makes me think it will be rammed. Do you advise booking if that is possible or like most places in Florida, should we just roll up and wait which seems more of the norm??

    Cheers

Why not give them a ring and ask?

Their website does have a 'Reservations' phone number so I figured they do take them.[msnwink]

Valentine's, like Thanksgiving and Mother's Day, are really big in the USA. Normally eateries are jammed out and, whilst you might be lucky to find somewhere without a huge queue/line, as it's a special evening for you I'd take the book in advance option.

Okay- a romantic place would be Christinis on Sand Lake Road- Italian food, accordian player coming to table, nice suroundings - not cheap, but not too dear either- and worth a trip!
Another good Steak House is Del Frisco's near the city centre.

Booked Charley's last night for Valentine's Day.

Simple phone call and we were all set.

    Thanks all.
