Thats brilliant Barbara especially with all the food temptation in the US. I have to start again when I get home as I have a wedding in Minneapolis in June and my son will be getting married in the next couple of years. Don't want my ex husband to see what a big fat walrus I have turned into!!!

We have been in Florida just 5 weeks and plucked up enough courage to step on the scales .I have lost 6lb,.total weight loss stands at 4st-3lbs could be a slight difference in the weight due to using different scales. But nevertheless I am stiill losing which was a concern there is far more tempation here than at home.

Well don't worry Frances as you have done brillantly so far!

My diet went a bit off track - didn't touch the mince pies, xmas pud etc but too much champagne and cheese - especially as our son got engaged! Entertained or dined every night as MIL went away for a week so had the house to ourselves to invite friends around etc. Last meal out tonight - just going to weigh in - I think it will be 3lbs on

I am sure you will get back in the zone Pamela once your get back home. Seeing your ex husband should be a major insentive.
I will be going home in just over two weeks, I only hope the colder weather doesnt make me go off the rails . Its so much easier to eat sensible when the weather is hotter.

Good luck to everyone in 2013 trying hard to lose weight .Hopefully this time next year we will all be a few stone lighter.

Well done to all of you with the willpower to re-start your slimming campaigns so soon after Christmas - we are still eating up all those chocolates and nuts we seem to think we will need for the one day that the shops are closed!!!

Will have to start thinking about cutting down and getting back into shape - it could take some time!!!

Lost 1/2 lb so bang on target. Want to lose another 2 1/2lbs which gives me some eating leeway....as I can go 3 lbs above my target.

No problem with still eating the chocolates and nuts as I ate them all in a few days[msnwink]
