I am also usually now between 16 which is too big round the waist and 14 which is too tight round the bust. Have an hourglass type figure...not good!!!

Well done everyone though this week, we all seem to be relatively in control[grouphug]

Sandra you are not on your own. I have a narrow waist, a normal size bust and bigger hips I am a pear shape. Jeans that fit me around the bum are far to big at the waist

I did manage to buy some jeans when in Florida in January, that had elastic just at the sides. These were perfect for my shape , but sadly they are too big now, With hindsight I should have bought some a few sizes too small. I will know for next time.

A lovely day here hopefully summer is just around the corner I can't wait for the warmer weather this year. I can remember in the past hating summer, when everyone was in summer clothes and I still wanted to keep my coat on to feel less exposed .

I never want to go back there ever again!!.

Just reading my WW May mag and they have a great recipe for an unusual free rice replacement, grate cauliflower coarsely into a bowl, squeeze lemon juice over and season to taste, then steam or microwave for 1-2 minutes to warm through and take away the raw crunch, serve with curry/chili.???

I'm debating between a 12 and a 14. Used to always be a 12 in my teens (but did get down to an 8/10 at one stage) and early 20s, haven't seen under a small 14 since early 30's! Been as large as a 22(shock/horror!)
I somehow feel anything smaller than a large 12 will be hugely unflattering on the face, not to mention the bits of me that have been reconstructed - I will be very lopsided! I want to lose another 14-20 lbs and then think if that's where I want to be.

Mike, I did the zipline on Allure of the Seas in December and it was AWESOME!!! Thought I was too old but they encouraged me and I wasn't the least bit scared as I flew above the Boardwalk, 9 decks high! Mind you, the landing wasn't too pretty, thought I was going to go straight through a wall, but it was such fun, can't wait to do it again!

Had lost just over a stone before we went on the cruise and after 3 weeks in Florida including a cruise I had put on only 1lb despite eating anything I wanted. Think we were so active that it helped to keep the weight off.

But I fell off the wagon badly in January/February - whenever I am worried or stressed I eat - so need to get back to it before we go again in May.

So can I join you all please? (I have been a secret reader for a while but haven't had the courage to jump in and join you all, but I really need a kick up the xxxx to get me back on track).

At the moment I would be happy to lose half a stone, so HELP!!!![msnembarrased][msnscared]

Welcome aboard Ellie, no matter how small or large anyone's journey involving weight loss, we are all in this together. You may find actually parting with some money to attend a group every week is a good kick up the whatsits, or you can do it on your own and either way, we all support each other here.

Hi Ellie, I only started after Christmas, I have tried SW class many times before but I always put the weight back on, so trying WW at home by using their online app which has really helped me this time, I list every thing I eat and make small changes/exchanges to menus to save points.

    Hi Ellie
Welcome to our slimming group. Don't worry it will be a while before I waste away!! I have tried WW and SW in the past, although they do help to lose weight . For me personally it's a quick fix and I always put the weight back on plus more.

We are all different, whatever works for you is what is important.

Ellie half a stone is all you need to lose you should beable to lose that before your next holiday in May. No more chocolate for you!!!

Pamela a hourglass figure is what I would love to have. I find when you start to lose weight most of the fat comes off the places with less fat. The areas with more fat take a hell of a lot longer..Knowing my luck when I reach my goal I will have no boobs and still have a big bum !!!

Now Barbara, did I say that half a stone was ALL I had to lose???? Hmm, I wish! The half stone is what I think I might achieve![msnembarrased][msnwink]

Better to be realistic in the time scale. I am not going to look like Twiggy in around 5 weeks! []

But if I lose half a stone then I will be lower than I was at Christmas, and that would be great. So onwards and upwards!

Done a lot of gardening today, half killed me! So hopefully all that activity will burn off a little fat.
