Pleased to say I have finally had a loss of 2lbs after limping along with a half or 1 here and there since returning from Florida. I completed a food diary every day and handed it in so that was probably what kept me on the straight and narrow! Well done Karen.

Well done Fiona, I also think the food diary helps to make sure you don't eat too much, I complete the weight watchers tracker on line

Well done Fiona. It makes you feel great when this happens.I was very lucky and got away with my chocolate bombes and stayed the same. However we were at an Awards Dinner in Newquay last night and I did eat everything in sight as it was so lovely. We are staying in a hotel in Truro and tomorrow we are at a Black Tie job in St. Ives so more rich food I expect. I will need to starve when I get back home on Sunday!!

I bought my first pair of jeans in 10 years today. if I lose 2lbs tomorrow at my weigh in I will have lost 65lbs in total
Then I will have only 5lbs to lose to reach the 5 stone mark.

Its only coming off slowly but at least I am going in the right direction

Good luck for tomorrow Barbara will be thinking of you, and whatever it is you have a fantastic weight loss.
There are 2 journeys to weight loss, zooming down the motorway and getting there quickly, and the scenic route; full of diversions and enjoying yourself along the way with a few short (or long!) stops. Either way is good, what is important is getting there to enjoy the rewards of your hard work.
Me - I've been on the scenic route for a long time now, with a few diversions on the way, but I intend to get there eventually. 50lbs so far.
Bad day yesterday, but back on track today.

Why is it you get so nervous when you step on those scales. I only lost 1lb,I was disappointed but 1lb is better than losing nothing.

Like you Fiona my journey this time has definately been the scenic route. In the past it has always been zooming down the motorway.
Taken me a lifetime of dieting to realize the motorway option long term doesn't work for me.

Karen I decided in July 2011, this time I would try to change my eating habits. Takes a lot longer to achieve your goal but for me its been the most rewarding .

Over the past 18 months I have learned a valuable lesson you can enjoy food without starving or depriving yourself, everything in moderation. Easier said than done I know a few slip up along the way
    .
My journey isnt over yet But I dont care, I am enjoying the scenic route.
    Barbara
