    Virgin Flights

    Hi,

Could anyone tell me if Virgin Flights are usually on time or are they normally delayed? My Virgin flight arrives from MCO at 0755 and I have to get a connecting flight to Belfast. The flight to Belfast is at 0955, would I have enough time?

    Thanks,
    Claire

Personally my flights have always been delayed, however my sister has never had a delay so it is hard to tell.

2 hours is probably plenty of time if the flight lands on time. is this the early or late virgin flight as I find the later one tends to be less delayed than the earlier.

If you're referring to flight VS28, it departs on time on 51% of departures.

The average delay is 47 minutes late with a longest delay of 4 hours 4 minutes. The fact that a flight leaves late doesn't necessarily mean it always arrives late - frequently time can be made up, especially flying East.

Statistically, the later flight (VS16) is almost twice as likely to leave late and only leaves on time on 26% of departures. The average delay is over and hour and a half!

    Claire,

Don't worry too much about this. I used to live in Belfast and caught the first of the Virgin flights. We were delayed to the point where we missed our connection, but as it was Virgin fault they managed to get us put onto the later Belfast flight.

We used to have to get from Gatwick to Heathrow to the BMI connection. Virgin actually called BMI while we were on route on the train so all was sorted once we arrived at Heathrow.
