the've been on sale for about a week, i had a bit of a fight in the local aldi with my kids over a packet of peanut butter cups[msneek]

but mum won out and they were succesfully steered away from them and got offered yogurts instead

apparently according to the kids this makes me a big bad horrible mummy[msnsad]

Never had trouble finding cornflakes or frosties there. Who wants cereal when you can have pancakes with fresh blueberries and Maple Syrup anyway[}][msnwink]

I'm not sure if I posted this before. But, for the Wheatabix lovers. It's in Publix's Organic and health food area. It's Canadian, but identical in every way. Even says on the box "Number one breakfast in the UK".
Frosties = Frosted Flakes (available in a reduced sugar type. Tastes good)
Sugar Smacks (remember those?) = Honey Smacks

We normally have a one day supply of carton baby formula with us and tea bags. Any food at all including biscuits and tea bags, cereal etc should be declared on the customs form. They will just ask what you have and if there is any doubt xray the suitcase, no big deal but better to declare everything than risk a spot check.......

For those interested, baby food, even jars of pureed fruit are ok as long as they are unopened, declared and available for the customs officer to see if required. Do not risk any fresh food like fruit, meat etc! Apparently they make excetions for bay food as long as it is unopened and a branded jar not your own pureed from home!

Never had a problem finding anything we need in the rather large grocery stores!!!
