Hi all,
Off to a villa in above resort on Jan 10th, has anybody stopped there and what did you think of it.
Also are there shops and places to eat or maybe have a drink close by, any help would be much appreciated as first time visitor to Florida.

CP @ Tower Lakes, not to be confused with the one on H27 N of the I4, is near Haines City and the customary collection of shops and eateries that gather near a Walmart, also nearby.
Plenty of eateries too on the 27 north to the I4
Hi, where you are staying is near us as we are at Southern Dunes. Between the 2 communities you will find a range of shops including a 24 hour Walmart plus other supermarkets, bank, liquer store, Blockbusters, hair dressers, Office Max, plus a variety of places to eat inlcuding the very popular Manny's. Near the junction of the US27 and the I4 is Posner Park, a new mall, which started opening up earlier this year and another selection of places to eat inlcuding The Pub. Head south from Tower Lakes and in Haines City is a place called Doughmonde which is next to the driving test centre here they have european pastries and which are very nice. Further south approx 15 to 20 minutes is another shopping mall, not that large so frequented more by locals, called Eagle Ridge and last time we were there they still had a big merry go round in the centre.
