Im sure this question has been answered before but other half has told me to triple check

We travel Jan 15 to Jan 29 2009 passports run out April 25 2009 do we need new passports before travel

No they will be fine. My husband travelled in May with a passport that was due to run out 2 weeks after his return.

Passports will be fine but don't forget you will need to fill out the online ESTA, as this comes into force on 12th January 2009

ESTA is the new US entry requirements which come into force in January 2009.

Help is accessable within the ESTA web link in my first posting. Hopefully it will answer any questions you have.You will require to complete the application online before your travel, at least three days before your flight.

However it is free and I would recommend you complete the applications as soon as possible, usually the authorisation is instant. I printed all our individual applications off and placed them in each Passport ready.
