Where is the best place for disney & warner brothers merchandise outwith the parks? Want to do a bit of christmas shopping for my nieces and nephews (nieces are well into high school musical etc) but not planning on visiting any of the parks this time around. Where else can we get this type of stuff?
Downtownn disney has lots of disney stores - there is also a store at Premium outlet Mall which sells ends of lines off cheap.
Can't help you out with the Universal stores.

We found loads of bargains at Downtown Disney (Rainforest Cafe end)and Premium Outlets at the end of I-Drive. Avoid the 'cheap' souvenir shops along the 192 and other tourist areas, they are anything but cheap!
There is a store that sells Disney stuff somewhere on the Disney site not within the usual shops that is an interesting place to go. I'm not sure where but perhaps someone could shed some light

Its called Character Warehouse for the Disney stuff, if you want current stuff then apart from Downtown Disney there is a couple of shops at MCO if you are flying from there and there is also a Universal Store.
I'm not sure if there are any Warner brothers stores.
You might find Walmart and Target also have some Disney stuff as they often have bits and pieces.

thanks very much. Flying in and out of Sanford so MCO not any good but should be fine to go to downtown disney and the premium outlets over the fortnight. Finger crossed for a few bargains.
