    Calabay Parc

    [msncool]HI Guys
We are booked into a 4 Bed Villa next July in Calabay Parc. We have been to Florida 3 times before the last being in 2005 and each of these times we have stayed at Southern Dunes.
Please can anyone tell me about Calabay Parc -
    What is the estate like?
What is the best route to disney and how long would it take?
    Where is the nearest Supermarket?
What restaurants in the area would you recommend?
Look forward to hearing from you all

    Hi PC EYES,

    Welcome to the forum!

There are two Calabay Parcs, the original one which is north of the I4, and Calabay Parc at Tower Lake which is south of the I4. Both of the estate are fabulous, very well landscaped and well maintained.

Which one are you staying at?

Hi PC Eyes - Both Calabay Parc and Calabay Parc at Tower Lake are on the US 27 - the original Calabay Parc is about 10 minutes North of Tower Lake - I just wish the builder had thought to name the second development something different, it would have made for a lot less confusion!!

Both communities are great, Tower Lakes is very close to Southern Dunes so you will already know that area, Calabay Parc is very close to Champions Gate, Berry Town Center and we also have a lovely plaza of shops just down the road from us, with a sports bar, Walgreens, liquor store, nail bar, chinese, pizza etc etc

Calabay Parc is a beautiful community, it was designed as a vacation community and therefore all the homes have their gardens maintained by the Homeowners Association which means the whole community always gets it's grass cut and shrubs trimmed - this helps to eliminate problem homes.

The nearest big Supermarkets are at Champions Gate and Berry Town center, both between 2 and 5 minutes.

We have options for Disney, either hop on the I4 at Champions Gate, or go North to the 192 and then get on the 429 hop off 1 junction later and you're there - both routes will take less than 15 minutes.

Applebees at Berry Town center is great, we tried it for the first time a couple of days ago and were really impressed. There is also a Chillis at Champions Gate as well as a Chinese.
The Omni Hotel is just up the road an they have great restaurants. The 192 is about 5 minutes away and there are literally dozens of restaurants to choose from.

    Have a great holiday!

Hi, There is a Walmart just N of the 192. Naturally when a Walmart opens it attracts all sorts of businesses. Opposite is Cagans Crossing with a few good restaurants. nearby is Long Johns, and many more springing up.Just S of the I4 Posner City has new restaurants and shops opening almost daily. As they say - the worlds your lobster[msnsmile2][msnsmile2] thereabouts

We stayed at CP in May last year. Great location and fantastic estate. Lots of the homes have pools which overlook a conservation area as ours did, and we got married there! It was great, married at 11am and in the pool by half past!!
You'll have a great time, it's close enough to everything yet far enough away, that at the end of the day when you're tired and teasy you can get away from it all.
    Enjoy!
