Hey there i'm new

Hi there my family and I are planning to visit Florida for the first time in August 2009. It will be a family vacation consisting of my Husband our 2 kids and my husbands brother,wife and 2 kids. We are all very excited and I do have a lot of questions and things that we are not sure of. I'm sure that this site will answer alot of these concerns. Was wondering though if August was a good time, where would be the best place to stay if renting a villa close to Disney and what would be the best site to look for park tickets? Thank you very kindly in advance for any help I may receive. [msnsmile2]

Hi Liz

Welcome to the Forum. There is no bad time to visit Florida. August will be very hot but the villas all have air-conditioning and so do the cars, and of course you will have your own pool to jump into to cool off. The second half of August is less busy because the American schools have gone back. Most of the Orlando villas on the sites here are within 15 minutes of Disney and that is fine if you want to make an early start, return to the villa for a rest and then go back for the evening entertainment. The best site for tickets is the link at the top of the page on the left hand side and the best car hire is from here too as the support is excellent.

I'm sure you will have lots of fun choosing everything and don't hesitate to ask additional questions

Hi and welcome-I've no axe to grind I'm not a villa owner but after searching for many hours you would be hard pressed to find a better site for park tickets than this one.

As said above, the links for car hire and tickets here have always worked out better and cheaper than other sites that I have looked on - there are no hidden details here, so you know exactly what you are getting. The same goes for villas. The owners love their villas and spend a lot of time there so can be very helpful.
