Saturday 4th October
Me and Kev had been driving my mum and dad mad about how great IHOP was for breakfast so my dad insisted we went there for breakfast this morning to shut us up (more like sample the menu!!!).
We get to IHOP (The one near Wet ‘n Wild) and get a booth (I love booths!!!). Me and my mum have eggs Benedict, my dad has the smokehouse scrambler and kev has steak tips and eggs. Our breakfasts come out – Kev’s is the size of our villas swimming pool and also comes with pancakes!! He ate the lot!!
After breakfast we went to an internet café called bad a** - the place is great and the coffee is fantastic (quote from my mum & dad as me and kev had milk as we don’t drink coffee!!). We sent some emails and checked up on Exeter who once again won (3-0, beginning to think they are doing better since I’m not in the country). Afterwards we went to The Pointe for an hour and spent a lot of money. We headed back to the villa to sunbathe for a couple of hours before showering and going to Celebration for the evening. We went for a lovely stroll around celebration all up to millionaires row etc before retiring to the Boston Town Tavern for a gorgeous meal and a couple of drinks (diet coke for me).
Got home around 9 for a few hands of Uno & Blob and then bedtime!
Sunday 5th October
Breakfast, a couple of hours by the pool and then onto one of my favourite things – Universal Studios!!! I LOVE this park. We get in and set off straight away on Shrek 4D which was good fun as always, then onto Twister and then Disaster – which I thought was so funny, I love the fact they show you the film at the end of the ride!! After a drink and a sit down we saw the Blues Brothers, braved Jaws and then watched Beetlejuice and went on Terminator. We decided to leave Men in Black and the other rides we missed for our return.
We stopped off in Publix on the way home to get more supplies of alcohol and some food including a couple of boars head subs. Me and Kev share one for dinner.
Monday 6th October
My parents set off early this morning as we decided to have a day in the villa by the pool while they are on their Discovery Cove adventure. After some 5 hours lying by the pool or playing in the pool, we decided to have a stroll around the neighbourhood and were delighted to see so many houses already fully decked out for Halloween!! My parents returned at around quarter to six. They absolutely loved their day and were really pleased they had decided to spend the extra money to go there. We went out to Tgi’s in the evening and had a lovely dinner and even a couple of cocktails.
Tuesday 7th October
After breakfast & some sunbathing by the pool we decided to go to Mall at Millennia. Me and Kev once again spend a small fortune and we meet with my parents a couple of hours later and go for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. I’d never been to a Cheesecake factory but my parents had been to one in New York & another in San Francisco and raved about them so I had very much been looking forward to visiting one. I was not disappointed. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich (with the hot sauce on the side as our server Stuart said I might not like it) my dad ordered the club sandwich, kev ordered a burger and my mum had a steak sandwich.
When the sandwiches came out I couldn’t believe my eyes – they looked massive and amazing!! Stuart was certainly right about putting the hot sauce on the side. Even Kevin (who eats volcanic larva) admitted it was a little hot.
After eating I couldn’t manage any cheesecake, and neither could anyone else so we went shopping for another hour and then called back and I bought everyone a piece of cheesecake for them to enjoy back at the villa later.
We decided to play a little mini golf in the evening so we headed to Pirates Cove on international drive. The boys had been bigging up their playing skills all day and there were already rules in place – the loser buys the first round when we go to Buffalo Wild Wings on Saturday night. I chose my pink gold ball very carefully and kept my fingers crossed. I cam
