charging batteries

hi, my digital camera takes normal AA batteries - cos of the expense ive got a charger and recharable batteries - will these charge just as well in america with an adaptor on it? i have a 15 minute uniross one - will that still take 15 mins to charge, or will it take a great deal longer? or is it recomended to go to wallmart or somewhere and get one there while in america to do me the two weeks?

I use a 1 hour duracell one which seemed to work just as well in the US as the UK. I just used a plug adapter and recall the charging times being about the same as at home [msnsmile].

We use rechargables and find they do take a little bit longer, as does the recharge on the phones but nothing significant.

May seem like a daft question - but here goes!

Did your charger come with a 'car cord' (maybe you have forgotten you have it?). If it did then take it with you and keep your batteries charged up while driving. Saves buying a UK:US adapter.

If it does not work, then take a trip to WalMart

They are not expensive to buy and will come in useful for your next trip to Florida too [msnwink][msnwink]
