Miami International - Alamo

Really sorry if this is a stupid question but for car pick up & drop off do Alamo have a desk in Miami International Airport or is it off-site [msnembarrased]

Its off site, I don't think any car hire companies are on site at Miami.

It's 1.7 miles from the terminal door.

It is off site but there are regular shuttles to take you there, so it is not a problem.

It is very easy. Exit the main door of the airport, cross the road and look for the sign for Alamo. The buses run frequently. Once you have collected your car safe driving and have a great trip.

Get a sat nav; finding your way into and out of the car hire places at Miami is not easy.

i agree with tonish, even with a sat nav it can be tricky.

I had the misfortune to fly in or out of Miami every week last month. It was never that easy to find the car rental depots but now a lot of the roads around there are closed off due to airport expansion making it even more of an adventure.
