BMI baggage allowance

Hi folks

Does anybody know what the BMI baggage allowance is. We are flying with them via Chicago in a couple of weeks time and have just been checking their website which says 46kg in economy. Surely they mean 46lb! It seems an awful lot higher than the other airlines.

Maximum of 2 bags each weighing no more than 23 kg each is quite normal for Transatlantic routes. Of course that is for each passenger.

Wow, I've always thought it was 23kg maximum two bags added together not each. And to think Charter flights only allow 15kg these days!

Someone correct me if i am wrong but i think Virgin are the same 23 kg x 2 each?

2 X 23kg is normal for scheduled airlines to the USA. Lots more space for the shopping!

BMI is 23kg x 2 there are also restrictions on the dimensions of the luggage i common with most of the other major transatlantic airlines.
