What happens when an owner sells??

Circumstances change meaning some times an owner on here has to sell. I can see from the relevant forum on here some do....

So if they have an existing booking(s) - what happens.??

Is the existing booking(s) honoured.

What happens to any deposit(s) paid?? - given they will have been paid to someone who is no longer the owner.

Do new owners automatically get the ability to promote their Villa on here??

It's normal that the owner will transfer the booking and all monies paid to date to the new owner who will honour the booking on a like for like basis.

Occasionally a home is sold to someone who does not intend to rent the house out and in that case it is usual for the owner to offer to find an alternative similar villa and transfer the booking over to there.

We have a strict policy that when a home that is advertised with us is sold, the new owners cannot take over the advert but are free to add their names to our Waiting List. This is the only fair way we can see of doing things as we have a long list of people who have been patiently waiting for a place on our sites and it would be unfair for people to be seen to be jumping the queue.
