any tips for buffet breakfast ?

Bob Evans also do good breakfasts, not buffet but as cheap as the buffet places. There are loads of Bob Evans dotted around so I am sure wherever you stay you will be near one.

First watch on Sand Lake is great for Breakfast and Lunch- Healthier type Breakfast not buffet which usually is OK once a holiday

How often do you plan on doing a buffet breakfast?

As an occassional treat have you considered doing one of Disneys Character breakfasts. These are mostly all buffet style with great atmosphere, characters visiting your tables for photo's etc, good food and a chance to see inside some of the amazing hotels and restaraunts that Disney have.
We had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian last time we went and were awe struck at the size of the place when you walk into the foyer. Characters there included Tigger, Pooh, Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins.

We have only ever done a character breakfast for a buffet style breakfast, and are favourite was 1900 Park Fare, real value for money, it was fabulous and as kenny says, you get a nice peak inside a Disney resort , adds another dimension to your holiday We tend most days to go for fruit or Bran flakes and an Orange juice where we stay, mainly because we know just how many lovely meals we will encounter the rest of the day, so like to leave plenty of space [msnwink]

Not sure where you are staying but the Sunday morning buffet breakfast at Southern Dunes is very good, you have to get there fairly early as it is very popular.

to be honest we havn't stopped in a villa yet (been 3 times) so havn't had the cooking facilities next time we will hence the reason for the breakfasts out all the time would a 2 and a half year old like a character breakfast?

Jason, if you are planning a character breakfast you need to book it well in advance as they are very popular. Kids and adults of any age will love it. It's also a great way of ensuring you actually get to meet all the characters rather than hoping you'll bump into them around the Parks.

Once you stay in a villa you will never want to stay in a hotel again [msnwink]
