Advice needed on ticket choice (Please)

    Hi All,

I am am new to the site and have to say it is the best one I have found in 2 months. I have booked the villa, about to book the car and i'm not even looking anywhere else for tickets....

There are 7 of us going to Orlando next July/August for 3 weeks. The ages will be 5,7,30,33,40,60 &61. I have looked at all the ranges of tickets and i'm getting seriously confused so any help would be really appreciated.

We want to visit the main Disney Parks, Univeral, IOA,Sea World, B Gardens and maybe 1 water park due to the boys ages.( We are probably going to go to Discovery Cove too and I'm doing that direct as advised on here).

We were wanting ideally to spread the park days out over the 3 weeks and have a kind of "day on and day off" senario. However the tickets I see look to be over 14 day period.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can do this and which tickets available would suit us best. Orlando has obviously changed so much since I was last there 10 years ago

Thank in advance for any help

    David

Although the tickets are over a 14 day period it is still possible to spread things out. Start by using just one of the tickets over the first week, then the middle week you can use both and the third week the tickets which you didn't use the first week.

Thanks for your reply Christine. Sorry for being thick but as said before I am really confused.

Am I now right in thinking that if I went for a "Fun in the Sun" Ticket Package 3 for instance that this is broken down into seprate tickets?

    Thanks Again

    Hi david

That would be 2 separate tickets. The disney one is valid for 14 days and the universal/busch/seaworld also for 14 days. Each 14 day period would start the first day you use that particular ticket.

    Hi Christine,

I have just been looking and I think we will go for the Disney 7 Day base(getting an 8th day free). This will give us plenty of time as on our off days we will visit the fireworks on the night times as the kids will be shatterd if we tried to do it after a park day. Combined with a Olrando 6 park flex ticket for the rest of the parks. I think this when combined with Discovery Cove will keep us busy for the 3 weeks.

Not sure whether it will be worth taking the boys to a water park as they will be only 7&5.

I think we will have a night at medieval times as we are staying at windward Cay too

    Thanks for your help

    David

Good choice!! The boys will love the water parks, aquatica included in the 6 park flex has a wonderful children's area.

Definately take the boys to the water parks if only for a couple of hours, they have some lovely kiddie areas and they are quite strict about who uses these. My son hasn't been able to use them since he was 8 due to his height so make themost of it.
