Have all the Virgin aircraft been updated and refitted to the Purple leather in Premium Economy or are there still some that have not
If so which aircraft have been converted and which have not.

The ones from Gatwick haven't.
I wondered this also.
We flew out PE on 14/09 and they were still the old red fabric seats!
Does anyone know when the gatwick fleet are being refitted?

Virgin announced this about 2 years ago and how good it would be and by looks of things still have not been done

I was told that the Orlando route would be the last to be done. I don't think all the 747 have been done yet. I was super impressed with the new seats on the London - Miami route, but not on the Orlando route coming home.
Never had a PE purple from Manchester yet!
I also noticed today that Virgin are now selling extra leg room in economy on a first come first served basis only available at the airport.

I do think the Virgin Jumbos need updating. We flew out this year from Heathrow with Virgin on an Airbus (I think) and it was definitely much better than the 747 we flew back on. Usually we travel from Manchester and have found the Jumbos looking increasingly tired.
However, it can work in your favour - a year ago, as we had two video screens not working, they gave us £80 credit, which my son immediately spent on a pair of Bang and Olafsen earphones from the inflight magazine. As they gave him a portable DVD player to use during the flight in any case, he was well chuffed.
