Thread: Budget book in online

    Budget book in online

I have just booked a Car via this site from Budget. I notice they have a facility for checking in online, missing the queues at the desk & going straight to the parking lot.
On the site it offers various insurance extras, one being LDW which is included in my gold package.
    2 queries,
If I book & decline this LDW is it removed from my booking?
Do I still receive the free upgrade to an intermediate car if I bypass the desk ?
    Dave

You can (and should) decline this to avoid being charged for it as it's already included.

Pre-registering wont affect your chances of getting the free upgrade.

I have booked with Budget via this site and didn't know they had the on-line facility. We have always been happy with their service and cars.

    Have fun

You can only pre-register up to around 10 days prior to car collection, so if you are travelling within this time scale, then it wont be possible to pre-register and you will get the error you describe.

I was about to register online prior to travelling on Saturday. However, it seems you can only register one name. If we are both driving, will we not need to both register. How do I get round this.

Only the lead driver can pre-register.

Am I still able to drive if only the lead driver can pre-register, as they would not have my details. Or can I add these details once we pick up the car.

Yes, you just add your details when you pick up the car.
