Oakpoint Davenport

Hi all,
does anyone know what the Davenport area is like.
Are there shops nearby,how far to the theme parks etc.

I stayed at Oak point a couple of years ago, we always stay in this area but not at Oak Point, close to Champions gate, I4 etc

Davenport does actually cover quite a large area. Our home is in Davenport and is just 10 minutes or so to WDW, we are also very near to Berry town centre which has a Publix supermarket, an Applebees restaurant as well as a couple of other places to eat and drink and chinese and pizza takeways.

We are also within minutes of lots of restaurants on the 192.
