Barbecue style 'old home' cooking with beef, pork, turkey BBQ (enormous portions) and 3 types of BBQ sauces! Not very good with deserts but we can recommend their Key Lime pie which is, unusually, the right colour, ie yellow and not green, as you might imagine!

A couple of locations - one near the airboat rides on Highway 192, not far from Medieval Times and Wal*Mart and the other, a new one, just opened on SOBT (on the 17/92), almost opposite Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club. This one was being built when we were last in Kissimmee in December so we are looking forward to trying it out.

We went to the Sonny's on US 27 as it was close to home and very disappointed. I thought the salad bar was great but the rest of the food was awful. Could have stayed at home and had a far nicer BBQ.

I must admit it is a very aquired taste, not one that I will be repeating but they were busy so someone must like the food

If anyone's in the Kissimmee area on 25 May, better hot foot it to the new Sonny's on the 17/92 (opposite Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club)!

There's an appearance by a 500 lb 5 year old tiger called Chuffer there on that day! <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
