Tour operator XL looks like declaring bankruptcy today. As they own Travel City Direct, does that mean the end for them as well? I note that their website has been down for several hours now.
I have a lot of sympathy for anybody whose holiday will be cancelled due to this but won't personally shed any tears for TCD. Frankly, no loss in my view.

XL flight out of Sanford canceld, plane impounded and passengers off loaded...very grim news
This has to be bad news for everyone. The people whose holidays have been ruined, the fact that less people will be on planes to Orlando means less demand for villas, more demand for the other airlines which means higher prices. [msnsad] I read somewhere recently that the average cost of an Orlando holiday has increased by £250 since last year already[msnsad] The strengthening Dollar is only going to make this worse[msnsad]
