Thats a shame because it was a very good dinner show - expensive, but good.
Yes, there would be plenty of locations to relocate it.
"Whats happened to Dolly Partons Dixie Stampede?"
I heard they rode off into the Sunset[msnwink]
Our managements daughter and her husband rode in the show and lost their jobs so they asked them if they would like to go to Kentucky and be in the show there so they sold up and left Florida and are in the show there .

It did seem very quite in Orlando when we were there the other week. Weve been going twice a year since 1991 and I can honestly say that when we were there the other week (Last 2 weeks in August)it's the quietest I've ever know it. The Parks were quite, as were the roads and restaurants, so I wondered if things had been a bit quite at Dixie Stampede and thats why it had closed. It's a big place to fill each night and with things being quite I just wondered if it had drawn to a close at the Dixie Stampede.
No, ticket sales were very good, i think it was something to do with problems within Dollys empire. There is no way anyone would close overnight like that. If you sell a chunk of land for development ot takes years to go through and you would have an agreement to cary on trading trading, albeit paying the new owners rent.

The second part of August is usually fairly quiet. Local kids are back at school and for some reason the Brits want to have their holiday in the early part of the summer holidays.
