Just getting ready to go anywhere is a mega task in my house.

Eyebrows have to be plucked, legs, arms and anywhere else has to be waxed/shaved. War paint put on, nails done. Don't even want to think about hair now I have grown it[msneek] Hours choosing just the right outfit, bag and shoes to match...now that is a huge task

I am slowly teaching Mr CDV good grooming. He now has a pedicure, even gone for the deluxe one, everytime we go to the US. He had a manicure at Xmas (while waiting for me to finish shopping) but he did not like that as his nails were shiny where they had put a clear coat on[laugh][laugh]

I occasionally pin him down and do his eyebrows but he is such a baby I don't get the chance very often. So last week I was amazed when he agreed to the therapist who was doing his pedicure when she asked if he wanted his eyebrows waxed, unluckily for him I was in the next spa chair and said yes for him too. He was apprehensive, not even I would wax my brows! It was quick, he was a bit red around the brows but I have to say it looked super, not fem at all.

I think male grooming is totally acceptable these days. The amount of products out there for men for their face, hair and bod is amazing. Ever see Vain men where the gay guys met sugaring?
I think sugaring is the least painful of all the methods, well apart from good old shaving but not in this programme...geeze.[msnoo]

As I said Liesa the grooming did not look fem at all. Mr CDV is manly enough Biker in his younger days, tats and all.

now you got me thinking about groomed men! a man in uniform is a well groomed man! and i do so like a man in uniform, soldiers[msnwink] policemen[msnwink] oh yes and firemen[msnwink][msnwink]just a few i think are quite nice and smart!ummmmmm
but no nothing beats my man in his smelly greasey overalls! stinking of oil and what not!! yes steve hes a mechanic! and so very far from groomed!

I have a very well groomed man - not fem at all!! Also an ex biker but never ever smells like hes done a hard days work, hes a 2+ shower a day man thank goodness as Im the same, even bath the little ones morning and night and big ones all shower twice a day! I always have polished fingers and toes always matching, get up every morning and wash and straighten hair and put make up on even if Im not going anywhere![msnwink]
