    Orlando first timers...

    Hi all,
I am hoping to go to Orlando next Summer for the first time. There'll be 8 (3 children 11,7 & 5 and two of the adults are in their 60's) of us travelling, we'd like a villa with a pool but have no idea on whereabouts we should be looking!

I'd appreciate any tips and advice on all aspects of staying in Orlando.

    Thanks

Well you have certainly come to the right place for advice and choice of beautiful villas most of which are within a short driving distance to the parks. You have plenty of time to put in a request on these sites then sit back and at your leisure you can go through all the choices of villas that are available for your dates. You will certainly be spoilt for choice. Good luck and enjoy choosing. Gill

How exciting planning your first trip to Florida.

All the villas on this site have been verified so you can rest easy that if you choose any villa, it will be okay. The site also offers flights, car hire, and park tickets at extremly competative prices.

If you have questions, just post on this forum and you will get many replies as everyone is so helpful.

    Good luck with your plans.

I am so excited for you-there is no place on earth like it!! I am going to be rude and ask whether your "60's" are able bodied and what kinds of things they are looking forward to the most?

yes the 60's are able bodied. The main thing they want from the holiday is to see their grandchildren experience 'the magic'. They'll enjoy the shows, busch gardens, sea world etc but not any extreme rides.

Can't wait to start the search!

    Thanks for all your replies

Lots of estates on US27, this is our favourite area. Ideally situated to reach everywhere.

My Mum was in her early 60's when we first took her with us to Florida, she loved everything about it and has returned with us many times since.

I'm sure you and your family will enjoy all the planning from deciding which wonderful home to stay in to which of the theme
parks to visit during your vacation. Have fun

    Hi Judith,

Welcome to the site. My mum was in her seventies and had the time of her life. We did hire a wheelchair just to make sure if she couldn't keep up she could sit down and enjoy the magic.
