    Orlando Easter 2009

    Hi
Just found this forum and I think it will be really useful as I am going to Orlando for the first time next Easter. We're staying in a villa at the Glenbrook Resort. Any tips or advice would be welcome. Is Easter really really busy in Orlando? It's the only time we could go and the weather looks perfect at that time of the year.
    Thanks [msnsmile]

April is a wonderful time in Florida, sunny, pretty dry, cheap golf, what more could you ask for? Also, great shopping, theme parks and the "other Florida" to visit too. Have a look at some of the threads such as miscellaneous attractions for lots of ideas.

As for Orlando being busy in April, Orlando is a major holiday destination so should be around major holidays but by using many of the tips on here, you will save yourself a lot of wasted time.

I would suggest buying theme park tickets as far in advance as possible to protect yourself from any price rises which may occur in the meantime.
    Regards, Mark

Welcome to the forum, Easter can be busy in the parks but if you arrive early you can miss some of the crowds

Hi Judith, welcome to the forum.
Yes Easter is a busy time to visit Orlando but with some good planning you will have no problems. A good tip we always use is to check out the extra magic hours and avoid the days that they are on at each Disney theme park. Use the fast pass system at the Disney parks, it's free.

Enjoy all the planning and most of all have a wonderful holiday.

Hi, You'll have a great time no matter when you go to Florida, however Easter is always busier in the parks. Just make sure you make the most of fastpass (disney parks) as previous guests who have stayed in our villa mentioned queues of 90 minutes for rides.
