    Thomas Cook

Has anyone flown with Thomas Cook recently? Doing Gatwick to Sanford, later this month.
Do they have seat back TVs? I've heard you get free water and icecream!!! Is that right?

I went with TC 2 years ago and from what I remember we had free water, but most airlines give free water. We also had an icecream, but again, most airlines do that.

I can't remember about the TV screens. Sorry.

I am sure you will enjoy whatever is on offer and you know it will be only a few hours and you will be in Florida[clap]

    Have a great time.

Yes they have seatback TV's. Service is good and not a bad flight. I like Sanford as you clear customs quicker than Orlando Int.

Just come back with TC from Sanford to Manchester. They were using an Airbus on the route with seatback TVs. Sanford was great on arrival, cleared customs, got the bags and collected the car within 20 mins from touchdown. The layout on the Airbus is mostly 3 x 3 x 3 except near the back where it goes to 2 x 3 x 2. As there were 4 of us we asked for 2 and 2 behind which was great as the aisles widen at that point and if you need to get out of your seat you can do so without waiting for the trolley to go by.

I've just flew with Thomas Cook Belfast - Sanford and we got free ice cream but not free water. We did get offered orange juice instead of tea/coffee.

They have tv's on the back of seats and coming home they also had a camera which showed the view from the front of the plane and a downward view which was cool for people who didn't have a window seat. They showed 'What happens in Vegas' and 'Music in Lyrics' and they also have different tv channels - childrens, entertainment etc.

They were great to fly with, the only thing was our baggage allowance was only 20Kg although we were slightly over coming home and they never charged any extra.

    Have a great time!!
