    Disney Parks Fireworks Shows

Do you have to buy extra tickets to view the fireworks/lighting shows in Disney parks, or do you just stay late for the shows. Where are the best vantage points?
    TIA

    Hi Jim,

You do not have to buy extra tickets for the fireworks/lighting shows, you just have to stay late. I cannot really advise on the best vantage points as I have not visited the Disney parks for a while but somebody will be along soon to let you know. One thing I would say though is that you need to get to your desired spot early.[msnwink]

The shows are included in the price of your ticket. We watched last week and found the best viewing point on the bridge nearest to the castle. At the moment it starts at 10pm.

As previous message, include in price. Magic Kingdom and wishes in my opinion is the best most magical show.

Another option, which is what we would rather do instead of staying at a theme park all day & night is, go to the park first thing in the morning do all the rides and shows that you and your family wish to do then head back to the villa for a chill and a swim in the pool. We then shower, change go out to a local restaurant for a bite to eat then head back to the park for the parade and fireworks. The car-park and theme park tickets allow you to do this at no extra cost.

I agree with you Lynne, our youngest is six and even with the best intentions 14 hours would be far too long for her. This year we spent 2 days at MK. The first we arrived for 9am, did loads of rides and stayed until 5pm. The next time we went at 3pm and stayed for Wishes. You will also get to see SpectroMagic which is also amazing. All the lights in the park go off for this and the parade is a lighting frenzy. Almost cried at both of these.
