Help please - X box - which one?

Our son's birthday is looming on the horizon. He wanted a Wii so I was all geared up for buying one. He's now changed this to an x box 360 live??? Can anyone please give advice? I know absolutely nothing about them[:I] When I logged online there are lots of different options, premium, elite etc. Any advice is welcome.

Don't you find the games very limited on the WII I agree great fun but there are not many good games for it.

No problems with games on the Wii, there are loads of good ones out there.

Yes there are lots of good games for the WII,but I have to agree with Martin some of them are rubbish.

Andrea I have just this minute spoken to my Grandson age 12 who recently bought a Xbox 360 Elite from Argos ( mum and dad bought it) was a bundle at under £300 he his more than happy with it. [msnsmile2]

Mario/Sonic at the Olympic games
Carnival
Monster trucks
Raving Rabbids 2
I also like Simms,and Lego Star Wars

Yep thats about what we have got but struggling to find anything else, Mario kart is good.
