What's Going on with the Dollar rate???

I checked Mark & Spencer last night and it was $1.47

I think they update daily so it tends to be 24 hours behind. This morning M&S are quoting $1.4445.

Big upward spike on the exchanges this morning.

Rate up to $1.55.

I read that as well Keith.

The fact is that, if the market thought it was true, the rate would already be there. The only sure prediction is that it's all totally unpredictable.

Wow, the bank rate is in the high 1.58s right now - time to transfer money for all those with accounts in the US!

That's the highest I've seen in for a long time.

...Maybe it's an omen that I'll soon be buying my villa?!
