Hi, I was just wondering if everyone could give me some good recomendations on the best place to buy my nus dollars at the moment, im off to the states next week so really need to get a move on with purchasing my currency, usually i go to the high street bureau but their rate seems to be really low at the moment, i know the rate is low anyway right now but im sure there is places better than the high street i just want somewhere online that i can trust with a few thousand pounds of my money and can guarantee delivery by tuesday ???

I'm sure you'll get plenty of other suggestions, but I've used onlinefx.com a couple of times and the rates were very good.

Between Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Travelex & The Post Office (I check these daily) Tesco are the best rate 99.9% of the time. Marks & Spenser are the worst.

On the south coast we have a company called InterCash, we always use them and we have found them to be very competitive.

The Pound had its best day for a long time today crossing $1.45 so you should get $1.40 retail again. Even so, it's around 12% down since the start of the year.[msnsad]

I'll try not to jinx it but the Pound got to $1.49 today. That's better than it's been for a while now.
