Hi Robert
Thanks for your reply, I think you're probably right. It's so difficult to tell but I guess there's no hurry so i'll hang fire. Thanks for your help.

After an 'up and down' week, it's ending at $1.62 so just a slight fall.
Seems stuck in the $1.60 - $1.65 range at the moment but none of the big daily falls and rises we saw so regularly a few months ago.
travelmoneyservices.co.uk are currently offering a rate of $1.68.3 for money ordered early next year

As far as I can tell they are not registered with the FSA and you have no protection for your money. see

Seems to have levelled out a little this week, $1.62 seems to be the avergae all week.

Starting the week down at $1.61 - more or less where it was this time last week.
Wonder if it will go up at all, Was going to go get some dollars today but at 1.53 on the high street i think i might wait a couple of more days to see how it goes [msnsmile2]
Its made a good start this morning up to £1.63, lets hope that the general trend is up.

Viewed over, say, the last 10 years these rates aren't at all bad. It's only when they're compared with the last 3 or 4 years that they seem very ordinary. I'd be reasonably happy with anything over $1.65 for my next visit in a few weeks time.
